Summer Blues

Oh helloooo, I know…I know, its photos of Scott again. Seriously though he is the most dispensable model I have and lets be honest, I really wanted to photograph the new jacket he bought from H&M on the weekend. Lets be real…I wanted the jacket for myself but alas it obviously did not come in a female version, so I guess then next best thing is telling Scott about it and of course him buying it.

The jacket had such a nautical feel to it, I paired it with a stripped shirt, soft grey pants, a braided cream and brown belt with brown loafers. Oh summer how I await thee.

I really don’t know how Scott keeps his lips so nice looking…comparative to mine they are super crusty and peely :(

Anyways, I do have a line up of female portraits to take this spring/summer so that should be fun! I’m really trying to dive into more fancy looking and creative portraits…any ideas? ha.

I thought maybe I should start a yearly tradition of photographing Scott every year on his birthday, so everyone can see the ugly aging progression of him ;)

I rented a portrait lens for the weekend for fun, it was an interesting lens…kinda hard to use since I didn’t have too much time to play around with it, the photos turned out…well you can be the judge of that. Scott likes the lens I used because he says “it makes his face look slimmer” hm…hahaha, oh Scott.

The first and the last photos are my favorite shots of the day, happy birthday dearest!

Good Afternoon Scott

Walking around Queen street west sunday afternoon, this was my favorite photo of the day…actually I think this is the first image I shot while we were outside…the flare gave the photo a grainy and retro kind of feel to it.

My test subject only likes to be photographed when in the mood apparently (was not in the mood). I took them anyways hehe.
